Social emotional learning skills are foundational to supporting students become healthy, thriving adults as they graduate. Embedding skills of empowerment, agency, and self/social-awareness help students (and adults) find more meaning and purpose in the classroom and their everyday.
Connection and relationships are necessary to become a healthy, thriving adult. Digital citizenship helps cultivate the online community that supports our in-person relationships. Edtech tools enhance our capability of connections within our school culture.
Podcasting can be used as a platform to build community through enhancing social emotional learning capacity, eliminating barriers to communication, and opening the door to authenticity.
